  • Newsletter: If you choose to sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is stored securely in our database (hosted by Google Firebase) and is used solely to send you updates about Zeepza. We do not sell this list.
  • Support: If you contact us via email, we will receive your email address and any other information you choose to provide in your message.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Technical Logs: Our hosting provider (Google Cloud) automatically logs basic technical information when you visit, such as IP addresses and browser type. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and site reliability, and are retained per Google Cloud's default policies.
  • Aggregate Game Data: We track game events (e.g., "puzzle completed") in aggregate to understand which games are popular and how to improve them. This data is not linked to any specific user ID or personal profile.

C. Information Stored on Your Device (Local Storage)

  • Game Progress: We store your streaks, high scores, and game completion status directly on your device (in "Local Storage").
  • Privacy: This data remains on your device and is not sent to our servers or linked to a cloud profile at this time.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and maintain the Zeepza website.
  • Send you newsletters (only if you opted in).
  • Analyze aggregate usage trends to improve our educational content.
  • Respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to help us run Zeepza. They are only authorized to use your data as necessary to provide services to us.

  • Google Cloud Platform: Hosting and server infrastructure.
  • Google Firebase: Database services (for newsletter emails).

Note: We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party tracking cookies that profile usage across the web.

4. Advertising

  • No Behavioral Advertising: We do not show targeted or behavioral ads (ads based on your browsing history).
  • Future Updates: In the future, we may include sponsorship messages or non-targeted context-based ads (e.g., an ad for a science kit on a science puzzle). Any such ads will be clearly marked.

5. Children’s Privacy

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Zeepza allows children to play without creating an account or providing personal information.

  • No Accounts: We do not currently offer user accounts or profile creation.
  • No Collection from Children: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information (e.g., through a support email), we will delete it as quickly as possible.
